This piece represents mental conflict.
Civil war is to be at war with one's own nation, internalised chaos. In ancient Rome, the temple of Janus (God of gates, duality, transitions and time) was closed in times of peace but opened its gates in times of war. To represent this duality, Janus is depicted with two faces. To take this concept further, I merged multiple slip-casted faces from the same head as outcome 1. The four faces represent multiple conflicting aspects of oneself.
